On the afternoon of July 19, Zhang He, the member of standing committee of provincial Party committee and the secretary of the Municipal Committee of the CPC, Zhang Yaohua, the deputy secretary of the municipal committee of CPC and the mayor, interviewed Koike Yoshio, the old president of Koike Sanso Kogyo Co., Ltd. and his entourage in Tangshan Hotel VIP House. 　　Mr. Koike Sanso is the starter and successful developer of Koike Sanso Kogyo Co., Ltd., and also the decision-maker and founder of Koike Engineering (Tangshan) Co., Ltd. Since Koike (Tangshan) its registration in our city in 2002, its investment has increased from 5.60 million USD to 9.30 million USD. Currently the company is in sound production and operation status.

　　Zhang He expresses his warm welcome to the arrival of Japanese guests at first, and extends the good wish. Zhang He says, through Koike Sanso’s efforts, the project of Koike (Tangshan) has made a big success. Both parties have had a pleasant cooperation. Especially after the second phase expansion of construction, the enterprise scale is expanded day by day, the production and administration is in good situation and its popularity is improving too. We hope this project can achieve success in Tangshan and even China. At present, the shipbuilding industry of Japan is shifting to China, the setting-up of some large-scale shipbuilding enterprises in the South has provided extremely favorable conditions for Koike to expand China market. Tangshan is building Caofeidian Harbor, shipbuilding and ship repair industries are both listed in our long-term planning. We hope our cooperation will be deeper and lasting. Zhang He also expresses that he will spare no effort to support Koike’s development in Tangshan as before.
